Join Dr Gerard Drennan as he shares the concept of Restorative Justice and the introduction of restorative practice into forensic mental health. Dr Drennan first became aware of the concept of Restorative Justice from the late (great) Archbishop Desmond Tutu whilst working as a clinical psychologist in Cape Town. The belief that healing and change was possible through dialogue which has inspired him to introduce restorative practice into forensic mental health. As restorative approaches to harm in healthcare gather momentum, is there space for dialogue with systemic harm?
