CSCP Training Update

2 May 2024

We have exciting news regarding changes to our training administration process that will soon be implemented. We are constantly striving to enhance our methods and ensure that all practitioners based in Croydon receive the best safeguarding training and development opportunities possible. With this goal in mind, we are transitioning to a new platform that will streamline and centralise our training efforts.

Currently, our training process involves various booking methods to access our face-to-face training, e-learning modules, and certification. While these methods have served us well, we recognise the need for a more cohesive and user-friendly approach that will put the user in more control of their continuous professional development (CPD) tracking.

We are pleased to announce that we will be adopting a new platform that will integrate all aspects of training administration into one centralised portal. This means that booking face-to-face training sessions and e-learning modules will all be accessible and managed within a single platform. This change is aimed at providing you with a more efficient and convenient way to access and track your training progress.

One of the key benefits of this new platform is that it will empower each of you to take control of your safeguarding compliance. This new system will require you to create a learning account, which will give you greater visibility and control over your training requirements and progress. This means that you will provide you better autonomy to manage your training schedule and access resources at your own pace, while also ensuring that you remain compliant with safeguarding regulations.

We understand that change can sometimes be challenging, but we believe that this transition will ultimately lead to a more streamlined and effective training experience for everyone. To support you during this transition, we will be providing more information in due course to help you familiarise yourself with the new platform and its features.

We are confident that this change will bring about positive improvements in how we administer and manage safeguarding training for multi-agencies. Your feedback and cooperation throughout this process will be invaluable as we work together to make this transition as smooth as possible.

Please note during this transition we will only be publishing dates for training that will be taking place within the next eight weeks, this is to prevent duplications of bookings.
