Domestic abuse awareness

This course will help you to understand and identify domestic abuse and explain the processes to assess and manage risk.

  • gain a greater understanding of controlling and coercive behaviour, including the cycle of control and Claire’s Law
  • gain knowledge about what sexual violence and consent is

  • recognise the importance of gathering historical information
