VAWG (Violence Against Women And Girls) strategy survey

1 March 2024

Croydon Council is introducing a delivery plan to address Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), with a specific focus on domestic abuse and sexual violence (DASV). We would like to now invite you to take part in our surveys.

The resident (victim/survivor) survey will help us to understand what Croydon residents think about the council's domestic abuse service, the FJS (formerly the FJC). Additionally, we will ask questions on their experiences of other services within the partnership that support victims/survivors of DASV/VAWG including health, police, and education. We would also like to find out their thoughts about the awareness of support options for victims and survivors of DASV/VAWG in the voluntary and charity sector in Croydon. Their feedback will help us to learn how to improve our services for DASV/VAWG services within the Safer Croydon Partnership and the community.

The professional survey is for any professionals working in Croydon with victims/survivors of DASV/VAWG and any professionals working with women and girls, vulnerable adults or families and children. Please can you share this survey within your organisation and networks, and I would like to encourage all members of the board to complete the survey.

Both surveys can be completed by phone.
